It was freezing this morning compared to a typical April morning.  I think the temperature was around 45 degrees and the wind was just about knocking everything down.  So our 9 am start for the Easter Egg Hunt was a bite out of control and the kids were lined up like the start of a marathon.   Sara open and gates and they were off.  The kids were flying all around trying to get as many eggs as possible that were hidden throughout the garden center.   Sara and Amos hid the eggs in the playground, tree house and all over the plants.  It was very exciting to watch the kids search for eggs.  I notice that some had very few if any and others hit the jackpot.  Maybe next year 1000 eggs won’t be enough and we will have to prepare 4000 eggs for the hunt.  The wonderful hunter had there pictures taken with our Easter Bunny and enjoyed cup cakes and cookies.  All the pictures are ready at the Garden Gate for pick up and the digital images are ready as well.  Please send me an email at charris@thegardengates.com and I will forward instructions.  Please also take the time to register on our website as a customer so we can send you information about upcoming events.  Follow this link and you will start receiving the info via secure email server http://www.thegardengates.com/AccountSettings.asp?AddNewCustomer=Y.
